Holy smokes, it was an action-packed weekend for the CMDA. Our bands were such warriors! We're über chuffed with their performances (yes, note the 's' - more than one) on the day. Those of you who were at Makro Nelspruit for their birthday celebrations on Saturday will remember being entertained by CMDA bands Cosmic River, Vital Crew and rising legends Café Wha?

After a full morning, Apple Finger and Café Wha? went on to open for SA Idols winner and all-round musical genius, Jason Hartman of The Jason Hartman Band (remember how we were ruffle-strutting earlier? Well, we're at it again). What an electric performance it turned out to be!

But that's not the only thing we were up to this weekend.

Up at the crack of dawn, we made a quick stop at our Zwelisha Hub where we introduced Jason to some of our young musical geniuses.

Male peacocks do it all the time, so why can't we?

We wouldn't really call it showing off, but when you're proud of an achievement, you can be forgiven for ruffling your feathers and strutting a little, right? Well, truth be told, we're enthusiastically ruffle-strutting in the office right now after reading this awesome Skyways Magazine write-up.
